Look at the properties that are under contract or Contingent. Contingent means that there has been an offer written on the property. There could be many reasons why it did not go straight into Pending Status, inspections, loan is not quite in place, or what we are seeing a lot of these days is waiting for the bank to decide on a short sale. The amount of homes that owners are trying to sell short is quite high also. It is of course because their home is not worth what they still own on it. This is the whole Las Vegas Valley, it does not include Boulder City, or Pahrump.

Home Builders Show in Las Vegas

Las Vegas Welcomes The Home Builders

It seems the focus this year for the home builders show is Green. Increasing competition between “green” product suppliers is driving costs down, making it more affordable to build greener homes. Consumers are also very interested in cutting energy costs and the building of much more efficient homes will be a good thing for buyers.

Some of the items that were shown at the show:
Radiant floors have come down in price making them much more affordable and warm on the feet:)
Flashing tape that helps keep the water out of your home.
New electric tankless water heater by the way they are being used at the new Summerlin neighborhood of Villa Trieste
Several new siding, natural and made up of fiber cement.
Gas or propane-powered fireplaces can be an energy efficient way to heat a room, and fireplace maker Napoleon showcased several stylish designs at the show, including its new Crystallo model. The rectangular fireplace is designed to fit several feet up off the floor, like a wall-embedded fish tank.

Over all the show did not have as many vendors this year, I suppose due to the state of the economy:( But it is exciting to me to see more green products being offered. It is exciting to see it becoming more affordable to GO GREEN

Las Vegas A Wonderful Business

I have had computer troubles for the last week. As a Realtor and Blogger I could not access my MLS to look at properties or get into my administration to update my blogs. (get rid of spam LOL) I was out of my mind with frustration. Well I was upset. Now, I am not too trusting when it comes to hiring people to do things for me but being at my wits end I looked in the Yellow Pages and finally decided on

I called and was answered right away. I spoke with an awesome tech and even though I was not at home, he came to my house ( My mom was home) and he worked so hard we kept in touch by phone. He had to take my computer home with him and again he kept me up to date and with the progress he was making.

It has been a long time since I have witnessed this kind of customer service. Honesty and integrity are putting it mildly. If you ever have to have your computer work on and want to feel a level of customer service you will not believe, then you must call Anytime Computer Services. There are three numbers you can call:

The Pending sales have gone up this week, more buyers out in the market writing offers! That is good news, that along with warm weather for this next week
