I have been watching Manhattan West being built for quite awhile now. It looked like someplace I might like to live someday when and if my circumstances ever change. It is impressive and looks from what I have read and watched as if it is not only being built with quality but also with a great management team. So driving along Sunday morning I pull off and snapped this picture. Located halfway between Summerlin and the Las Vegas Strip Manhattan West is perfectly located to get anywhere fast. It is fast growing over to the west with a brand new hospital and plenty of shopping close by.
I could have taken a view from the front where they are further along but I wanted you to see construction in progress. I may pull off again and add some pictures. Trump Towers
The original plans called for one 64 story building (645 feet) that would combine Groundbreaking on the first building is scheduled for April 2005 and almost 1000 of the buildings 1282 units are spoken for already! For this very reason, it was announced on January 4th that an identical second tower would be added to the project as well. Mr. Trump assures that it will be just as spectacular as the first building. Both buildings are modeled after the Trump International Hotel and Tower in New York. This of course includes 24K gold glass with white accents that are sure to sparkle and dazzle in the bright Las Vegas sun.
