Real Christmas trees are biodegradable

Real trees are a renewable, recyclable resource. Each holiday season, the Springs Preserve partners with local public and private organizations to sponsor the Christmas Tree Recycling program. From Dec. 26 to Jan. 16 , residents can choose from 21 locations throughout the valley to drop off their Christmas trees. Tree recycling
Last season, 18,700 trees were contributed, generating 200 tons of nutrient-rich mulch and saving 2,500 cubic yards of landfill space.
